Christine Hansen, Executive Producer and Experience Designer will lead our afternoon together by creating a magical workshop experience that will transform your home floral design skills while being surrounded by vintage beauty, beautiful blooms, like-spirited community and refreshments.
Learn about basic floral care, general principles of design and color theorywhile utilizing the fresh Summer blooms organically grown on our Spirit farm in the Hudson Valley.
Learn the tips and tricks Christine has gleaned from training with some of the world's most sought after floral designers including, but not limited to Ariella Chezar, Max Gill, TJ McGrath, Passionflower Sue and others to create your own unique floral design.
Flowers will include dahlia, zinnia, sunflowers, herbal filler and whatever is blooming at the time of of our class, which will give your arrangement the best possible vase life.
We will provide all the tools and seasonal flowers needed to create a gorgeous, whimsical arrangement with style, grace and laughter!
Workshop includes:
- Everything you need to design your arrangement.
- 2-3 hour workshop, guided by Spirit founder, Christine Hansen.
- Individual support given to students to help you create your own personal magic!
- Locally grown and sourced flowers to include focal and filler flowers, plus greenery!
- Scissors / Clippers available for use.
- A keepsake vessel to continue practicing your craft at home.

You understand:
- Class size is limited to 6.
- There are no public restrooms on the property.
- That you are coming to a working farm where surfaces may be uneven or rocky, sharp objects are being used and are on property. You acknowledge that you understand this and fully waive any liability for any trip hazards or unexpected accidents that may occur while you are on the property.
